I am 16 1/2 weeks and finally feeling a lot better. I still have my moments but I think it is Fletcher's way of telling me he is doing great! My stomach has really popped in the last week too, it is crazy how big Fletcher is getting! We have had two weeks of visitors, Auntie Rara (Cara) came last weekend and Grandma and Grandpa Paula and Chuck came this past weekend. Both weekends were great especially all the help Grandma Paula gave me at home and buying maternity clothes. Today I had an OB check up and the baby along with myself are doing great! Grandma and Grandpa Schumacher were able to come to the appointment and get in on the fun of hearing the heartbeat too. (Picture of Ami and mom from MN weekend)

This past Sunday I had a baby shower for my friend Kelly. I was so happy to be at this shower to celebrate Kelly and the coming of baby Omdahl in May. Kelly is one of my best college friends and has struggled with infertility too, so her baby and pregnancy is a blessing just like mine. (Picture of Laura with Finley, Kelly & Ami from shower)

Fletcher has so many friends being born in 2009 and I will be highlighting them on the blog so that Fletcher will be able to look back on this one day and laugh with all his buddies! Fletcher's first friend and the oldest of the 2009 pack is Finley Kaye Murphy. Finley is the daughter of my friends from St Mary's Laura and Sean Murphy. Laura also struggled with fertility issues so Finley coming into their lives 9 weeks ago is God answering all of our prayers. (Picture of baby Finley at 9 weeks)

Lastly, two weeks ago when Scott and I traveled to Chicago for my mom's 60th birthday we of course had to stop at a bar in the airport to calm Scott's nerves before getting on the plane. Check out the name of the bar we happened to stumble upon...Fletcher's Wharf!
