The sound of a heartbeat.

We hit the big milestone...12 weeks! Today I am 12 weeks and 4 days and we heard the baby's heartbeat for the first time. We had an OB check today and everything looked great! The doctor had a hard time finding the heartbeat which made me a little nervous. She said that I was on the cusp of hearing it, but she kept trying. We finally heard it for a second and I got so excited and moved and so did the baby. She found it one more time, but again the baby moved quickly. It was still really exciting to hear how fast the little heartbeat was beating and it made it so real once again. We didn't have an ultrasound today but she wanted to schedule one in two weeks on March 16th, I think they are still keeping a close watch on the other 3 sacs. She also wants to do another OB check in a month on March 30 and said we should hear the heartbeat better then. Fletcher is the size of a lime this week!
